Confidence that doesn’t make sense
“For we are the Circumcision who worship by the Spirit of God and Glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh.”

- The secular world mindset operates on a value system based on personal merit, acquisitions, and possessions.
- However, the word of God exhorts us to renew our mindset, not in conformity with the patterns of secular thinking, but according to the truth in Christ Jesus.
- Truth by which the standard of measurement of someone’s value does not rely on the Secular value system, but on who someone is in Christ Jesus, by the Spirit of God.
- Putting no confidence in any academic title, personal wealth or belongings, nor any earthly status or achievements, but our confidence is in the grace and providence God has already assigned before the foundation of the earth for those who love & obey him.
- Love & obedience, which consists of a proper alignment of our will with his, an active pursuit of a personal relationship & partnership with him through his Spirit, and our faith in Christ Jesus manifested in our compliance with his commandments and a proper application of his word of Truth
