I Pray To Get Out Of The Way

Father, today I Pray to get out of the way.

Lord may my perception be aligned with your perspective.

Help my judgment be righteous just like you are,

Help my heart be humble just like your son,

Help my devotion be consistent to know your thoughts.

Help my temper stay steady upon reaction,

Help my words be gracious upon response.

Father help me have a holy confidence rather than human cockiness.

May my response and reactions be born out of authority other than animosity.

Through your spirit, may my behavior be directed by truth rather than a simple tantrum.

Help me discern your holy righteous and absolute truth amid my perceptions, thoughts, reasoning, and understanding.

Father and after that help me pursue it with all my mind, heart, will, and strength.

While you rebuke any slanderous lie and injustice, all deceit and malice.

Help me die,

Help me love,

For me fight,

Do what's just,

I'll hold on,

I will trust.
