Light Upon Divine Insight

Lord,

As I sit and approach close to the Light,

To read your word and study scripture,

Help me dig deep inside,

May I read beyond the letters,

May I see Truth amongst the Lies,

Bring revelation, Provide Insight,

With your Holy Spirit by my Side,

Heavenly Father, stand close by,

Help me not dismiss, nor lose sight,

of what you want to show me,

of your Divine Insight,

Make your presence my Delight,

May your word be my Light,

Shedding truth upon any scheme and every Lie,

In your Spirit only I rely,

Sometimes it's hard, I won't deny,

But if I stay persistent, and come close by,

I know you're faithful to stand by.

So show up, Jesus, and help me die,

Let there be light upon any Lie,

You gave your life and chose to die,

So that today in your Spirit I can rely,

To read beyond the letters, to see behind the lies,

To reveal your word, and shed its light,

Your Holy Revelation, Your divine Insight
