Success in the Process
Father,
I'll leave all expectations on the other side of the door.
For I'm just the servant, You're the Lord.
You decide what happens behind closed doors,
I'm just here to adore,
The King of Kings,
The Lord of Lords.
I've lost sight of your heart,
Father hit restart,
I need a fresh start,
I can't keep following my heart.
Nor rely on doing it my way,
For surely I'll be led astray,
Father, show me your way.
My heart wants to get repaid,
It seeks to be honored & get recognition,
But all you've called me to do is to honor the vision.
Father, grant me your provision,
Without your assistance, I can't accomplish my mission.
Multiply when I wrongfully seek division.
Give me a double portion:
Of your Spirit,
Of your Oil,
Of your Fire & power.
Not so I can devour,
But to be steadfast and ready for the hour:
When it's time to die and comply,
When it's time to surrender to my defender,
When you call to honor when I'm dishonored,
When it's time to follow through with what you've called me to do,
When it's time to hold back,
If I'm under attack, but you don't want me to react.
To act when you want me to act,
To stop when you want me to stop,
To wait when you want me to wait,
To fight when you want me to fight,
To stay when you want me to stay,
To go when you wan't me to go,
To know what you want me to know,
To say no when you say no,
To say yes when you say yes.
Lord humbly today to you I confess,
I won't be able to have any success,
If you don't stick with me through the whole process.
