All of a sudden, I get confused,
I no longer feel like I'm being used,
And your will I start to refuse.

In every situation,
The complications become greater than the revelations.

My emotions disrupt my devotion,
And I get dragged by the motions.

All of a sudden, I take every offense,
My mode switches to defense, only to end up in offense.

I have no understanding,
I stop comprehending,
And I end up pretending.

Self-preservation takes domination,
I forgot my No.1 Priority,
Your Name's exaltation.
When I take my eyes off of you.
It becomes about me, not the mission,
And surely that's a call for a heart's revision,
And to put my Soul under Remission.

So help me dispose of myself and stick to you,
Is the only way I will do what you ask me to do,
